Al-Arafah Islami Bank PLC, one of Bangladesh’s foremost Shariah-compliant financial institutions, has formalised a strategic partnership with Provati Insurance PLC by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The collaboration aims to advance digital financial services, streamline premium collection, and enhance operational efficiency across both organisations.
According to an official press release, the agreement will facilitate seamless premium collection, robust data security, real-time reporting, and efficient financial reconciliation throughout Provati Insurance’s operational network. The initiative is expected to set a new standard in digital banking services while providing an improved experience for customers.
The MoU signing ceremony was held at Al-Arafah Islami Bank’s headquarters on Sunday. The agreement was signed on behalf of the respective organisations by Md. Abdullah Al Mamun, Deputy Managing Director of Al-Arafah Islami Bank, and Md. Zahedul Islam, Chief Executive Officer of Provati Insurance.
Senior officials from both organisations attended the event, reflecting the high-level commitment to the partnership. From Provati Insurance, Additional Managing Director Shakhawat Hossain Mamun and Deputy Managing Director Newaz Mohammad Rashedul Karim were present. Representing Al-Arafah Islami Bank were Senior Assistant Vice President Md.
