Allianz UK and AutoRek have unveiled new appointments designed to reinforce their strategic positions within the insurance industry, underscoring continued investment in leadership, innovation, and digital transformation across the sector.
Allianz UK has appointed Vicky Yuill (pictured) as Distribution Director for Allianz Personal Broker, effective December 2025. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, Yuill brings over 20 years of experience in the insurance industry. She previously served as Head of Insurance at Sainsbury’s Bank, where she managed a diverse portfolio of insurance products, including car, home, pet, life, and travel insurance.
Earlier in her career, Yuill held senior leadership roles at Ageas and Kwik Fit Insurance Services, where she led insurer partnerships and product development within the home and motor insurance sectors.
Her appointment follows the earlier announcement of Glyn Hughes as Managing Director of Allianz Personal Broker, a position he will assume in February 2026. Together, these appointments signal Allianz’s renewed commitment to strengthening its broker network and enhancing relationships within the personal lines segment — a key growth area for the company.
AutoRek, a leading global provider of automated reconciliation and financial control technology, has announced two significant senior appointments aimed at accelerating its expansion in the insurance market.
Tony Shek joins as Global Sales Lead, bringing over a decade of experience gained from roles at Aviva, AIG, Generali, MetLife, and HSBC. His background includes digital transformation and financial systems innovation, most recently demonstrated during his tenure at CyberSmart.
Supporting Shek’s efforts, Meghana Nile has been appointed to AutoRek’s Presales Team, following her role as Business Architect at Allianz Insurance. With more than 15 years of experience in designing and implementing strategic, technology-driven solutions for insurers, Nile will play a pivotal role in advancing AutoRek’s engagement with global insurance clients.
These dual appointments reflect AutoRek’s growing focus on digital modernisation and automation within the insurance sector. The company’s newly launched AutoRek ARIA platform, which integrates artificial intelligence, aims to enhance operational efficiency, improve data management, and deliver faster, more accurate reconciliation outcomes for insurers worldwide.
