Generali Group has announced the appointment of Mr Giulio Terzariol as the new Group Deputy CEO. This appointment will take effect once the standard Fit and Proper assessment by IVASS has been completed.
In his new role, Mr Terzariol will manage the Group’s global insurance business and oversee the operations of Banca Generali. His responsibilities will be fully aligned with the directives of the Group’s CEO, ensuring seamless integration across the company’s diverse sectors.
The position of CEO for Insurance within the group will be eliminated as soon as Mr Terzariol takes on his new responsibilities. This decision reflects the ongoing changes within the company, which aims to streamline its leadership structure and enhance operational efficiency.
Mr Terzariol brings a wealth of experience to his new position, having held a range of senior roles within Generali in the past. His extensive expertise in insurance and banking operations will be instrumental in driving the future growth and strategic direction of the group.
