To commemorate this multi-year agreement with the Canadian Olympic Committee (COC), a sweeping national campaign has been launched ahead of the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic Winter Games.
For over two decades, Intact has been synonymous with the Canadian speed skating community. This new partnership, however, elevates the brand’s presence to the global stage, positioning it as a cornerstone supporter of the nation’s entire Olympic contingent.
A Masterclass in Visual Storytelling
The campaign, spearheaded by the creative agency Cossette, centres on a visually arresting television spot that pushes the boundaries of sports cinematography. Under the direction of Andrew De Zen and cinematographer Oliver Millar, the production utilised mobile camera systems to capture perspectives previously unseen in winter sports advertising.
The narrative follows a speed skater at ice level, eventually “diving” into the physical grooves etched into the rink. This serves as a poignant metaphor for the years of dedication, repetition, and grit required to transform a novice’s first strides into an Olympian’s triumph.
