The Mail & Guardian has officially opened nominations for its annual 200 Young South Africans Awards, an initiative that recognises and celebrates the nation’s most inspiring young leaders who are making a positive impact on society.
Now in its latest edition, this flagship project shines a spotlight on exceptional individuals aged 18 to 35 who are contributing to the growth and transformation of South Africa across a wide range of sectors.
Eligible nominees must demonstrate a strong commitment to the development of South Africa in one of 17 categories, which include sport, agriculture, financial services, governance, justice, arts and entertainment, health, and technology.
Over the years, the 200 Young South Africans Awards have become synonymous with excellence, celebrating the country’s youth not only as leaders of tomorrow, but as agents of change today.
The deadline for nominations is 29 February 2024, and the Mail & Guardian encourages individuals and organisations to put forward candidates who are driving innovation, leadership, and positive social impact within their communities.
