Aon Expands Claims Copilot Globally

Aon, the global professional services and insurance brokerage firm, has expanded its Claims Copilot platform across North America, Asia Pacific, and several countries within the EMEA region as part of its wider strategy to strengthen data-led claims management capabilities.

The rollout follows an initial pilot programme launched in November 2025 and represents the next phase of Aon’s broader investment in analytics and technology tools across its Commercial Risk business.

Aon Claims Copilot integrates claims data and analytics within a single platform designed to support more transparent and consistent claims management. According to the company, the system enables claims professionals to access real-time insights, automate parts of the claims handling process, and provide clients with greater visibility across the full lifecycle of a claim.

The platform forms part of Aon’s wider technology strategy, alongside tools such as Aon Broker Copilot and its Risk Analyzers and Diagnostics suite. Aon stated that Claims Copilot is now being used by its global claims workforce of around 1,800 professionals operating in more than 50 countries and supporting over 20 insurance product lines.

Aon said the expansion consolidates a significant proportion of its claims management information into a single globally connected platform. The technology is intended to improve coordination between claims teams while supporting data-driven decision-making for clients managing increasingly complex risk exposures.

Key capabilities of the platform include real-time dashboards offering visibility into claims trends and portfolio performance, tools for assessing insurer performance, and digital access functions enabling clients to track claims progress directly. The company also noted that automation within the system is designed to improve speed, consistency, and accuracy across claims workflows.

The technology is also intended to generate insights that can support placement decisions, negotiations with carriers, and broader risk management strategies.
