A professional development training programme was organised in Feni by the Feni Sales Team of Sonali Life Insurance PLC on 7 May. The event, titled “Professional Development Training”, was held at The Royal Salmon Hotel in Feni. The purpose of the programme was to enhance the professional skills of field-level officials and employees, develop leadership qualities, and further strengthen sales activities.
The initiative was led by the Deputy Managing Director of the company, Anwar Hossain. The programme was attended by the Acting Chief Executive Officer of Sonali Life Insurance PLC, Mohammad Rafiqul Islam, as the chief guest. Special guests included the Additional Managing Director, Abu Shahadat Dulal, and Assistant General Manager, Shahadat Majumder.
Officials from various branches in Feni district participated in the training, including branch managers, unit managers, and field-level officers. The training session was conducted by the Head of the Training and Development Department, Mofazzel Hossain Manik. He provided practical guidance on modern sales techniques, customer service standards, leadership development, and professional excellence.
Speakers at the event stated that Sonali Life Insurance PLC is not merely an insurance institution but a commitment to financial security and future protection for individuals. They further noted that the company has been working consistently to bring positive changes in the insurance sector of the country through the development of skilled human resources.

He also emphasised that such skill development training programmes will play an important role in building stronger teams in the future.
He further stated that in 2025, the total premium income from the Feni territory exceeded BDT 6.6 billion, while the total insurance claims paid during the same period exceeded BDT 5.4 billion. In the same year, the company paid more than BDT 40.5 billion in insurance claims nationwide, positioning Sonali Life among the leading fourth-generation life insurance companies in the country.
