Sonali Life Insurance Holds ‘Career Guide Special Training’ in Khulna

A specialised professional training programme titled “Career Guide Special Training” was successfully held at the Khulna Shilpakala Academy under the initiative of Sonali Life Insurance Company Limited. The event was recently organised with active participation from branch managers across the Khulna division. The primary objectives of the programme were to enhance professional skills, support career planning, and further strengthen field-level operational efficiency.

The event was attended by senior officials of the company. Director Mustafa Kamrul Sobhan was present as the chief guest. Director Sheikh Mohammad Daniel participated as the keynote speaker, while the acting Chief Executive Officer of the company, Rafiqul Islam, presented the main paper. The programme also featured contributions from senior management, including Deputy Managing Director Mohammad Golam Mostafa, Assistant Managing Directors Anupam Das and Emdadul Haque Sahil, and Assistant General Manager Md. Obaidur Rahman Mondol.

Branch managers, unit managers, and financial associates from the Khulna territory also took part in the training session. The overall training activities were conducted under the supervision of Assistant Managing Director Emdadul Haque Sahil.

According to company data, Sonali Life currently provides uninterrupted insurance services to more than 62,000 policyholders in the Khulna division through 15 branch offices. As of March 2026, the division has generated approximately Tk 12 crore in premium income combining first-year and renewal premiums. In 2025, total premium income from the region exceeded Tk 45 crore.

In terms of claims settlement, around Tk 5 crore was paid up to March 2026 in the Khulna division, while total claims paid in 2025 exceeded Tk 15 crore. The company has maintained a consistent track record in claims settlement across its operations.

The Khulna division currently has 7,099 field personnel. As of March 2026, 257 new insurance workers have been recruited, contributing to ongoing customer service activities across the region.
