Alliant Insurance Services has announced the acquisition of Highpoint Insurance Group, a Texas-based brokerage located in Friendswood. The terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Highpoint is known for providing tailored insurance solutions to mid-sized businesses, with particular expertise in the energy and construction sectors. The firm employs 44 people in the greater Houston area, Alliant confirmed.
Following the acquisition, Highpoint will continue its operations under the Alliant name.
This deal marks Alliant’s second acquisition in Texas in recent weeks, following the purchase of Merced-based McAfee Insurance Agency in October.
