The Reinsurance Association of America (RAA) has appointed Tracey Laws as its new president and chief executive officer.
She will succeed Frank Nutter, who is set to retire on 1 December 2025 after 34 years at the helm of the association.
Ms. Laws, who has been leading the government and regulatory affairs team at GEICO since 2023, will officially assume her new role on 1 December.
Before joining GEICO, she served as Senior Vice President and Head of Government Affairs at Athene, and prior to that, she was Senior Vice President and General Counsel at Chubb.
RAA’s leadership transition marks a significant moment for the association as it continues to navigate regulatory and industry challenges under Ms. Laws’ extensive experience in both corporate governance and government affairs.
